You want to bring these kitchen trends home

The cold winter months are just around the corner. We are inside more often and are searching for warmth. And what would be the best solution for feeling wonderful at home? Bring the nature inside! With natural colours and materials you create a relax and serene atmosphere. The trends of today show that a wooden floor is an important base for an open kitchen that goes on into the living room. This way you get a warm and cosy vibe, but your space still appears big. The kitchen is a social spot in the house and it is being used often. That’s why it deserves a bit more attention and care.

With the iD Supernature PVC-collection by DessoTarkett you can go both ways

Every piece of this floor has a unique woodprint and finish. With a herringbone motive you immediately give your home a classic turn. Styling tip: if you have a herringbone motive on the floor put it also as wall panelling, this will give a surprising effect. Do you prefer a bohemian living style? Then dark wood would be the base for a tropical vibe. Combine this with waved materials, big tropical plants and comfortable furniture for the holiday home feel.

Do you really want something extra in your house? Desso has developed together with interior designer Odette Ex the unique collection Desso&Ex, which is available in five trendy colours. For example, the circle pattern you can see on the image. A great recommendation for more depth.

Everybody is becoming more aware of our living environment. How can we our living environment as efficient and sustainable as possible? Conscious living is a hot topic at the moment. This awareness is even making its way into the details and interior accessories of our lifestyle. Take for example a look at the Rainbow collection of the Danish design label HAY, made of sustainable porcelain with a light see-through, coloured coating. Or the sustainable Sense of Luxury-collection by Brabantia, they even added six colour options. The pedal buckets are made of 40% recycled materials. After being used the buckets are for 98% recyclable. Talking about conscious living. With the new colours Mineral Golden Beach or Mineral Windsor Red you have yourself a sustainable eye-catcher which should be the showstopper in your kitchen.
